Myth 1: Wearing a mask causes you to inhale too much carbon dioxide, which can make you sick.

Fact: The World Health Organisation has stated that prolonged use of masks, when worn properly, don’t cause CO2 intoxication or oxygen deficiency.

Myth 2: The only mask worth wearing is a N95 respirator.

Three layer cloth masks are effective in reducing the spreading of droplets in the air, combined with good hand hygiene and physical distancing. N95 masks should be reserved for healthcare workers.

Myth 3: If i'm wearing a mask, I don't need to practice social distancing.
